HYDROLOGICAL CYCLE

EVAPORATION– When the ground/sea is heated, the water vapour rises up to the atmosphere.

TRANSPIRATION– when the plants is transpired, the water vapour rise up to the atmosphere

CONDENSATION-When the water vapour rises up to the atmosphere, it condenses and form clouds.

PRECIPITATION– when the clouds couldn’t hold
the water droplets, it will falls as precipitation or rainfall.

INTERCEPTION– When the precipitation/rainfall seeps or infiltrates into the soils. If the water infiltrates into the ground it will form ground water. If the water does not infiltrates
flow over the land surface is called surface runoff.

CONCLUSION ({EVAPORATION + TRANSPIRATION} + CONDENSATION + PRECIPITATION + INTERCEPTION= (HYDROLOGICAL CYCLE)]
